Coordinated day-to-day management of the properties in order to maximize the profit for the owner. Worked closely on development and construction of a new property located at Kingsway and Nanaimo in Vancouver including T.I. coordination, S.I. reviews, and handled a multiple phase occupancy process.

At FirstService Residential, I handle a commercial portfolio which is comprised of office and retail space across the Lower Mainland in the amount of roughly 150,000 square feet. In the Investment Properties department, I work directly with owners of these properties. Some of my duties include overseeing the purchase and selling of properties, handling insurance renewals, negotiating new leases and renewals, and preparing annual budgets. I also have a strong personal presence on each property to maintain great working relationships with each and every tenant that I manage in my portfolio.

Reporting directly to the Vice President I assist with handling all aspects of property management in a multi-property commercial real estate portfolio, within western Canada. Day to day my work includes new lease negotiations and communicating with site managers and contractors in the carrying out of property repairs and maintenance. Also, I conduct site visits to view the work being completed on each property and to maintain good relationships with both national tenants and smaller locally owned businesses.

I was in charge of signing up new members right from greeting them at the door to closing the sale. I would use the sales process to ask the proper questions and show the customer why we are a good fit for them. I was also in charge of roughly 10 staff and assisted them with their concerns or questions from the customers. I was also in charge of teaching group fitness classes of up to 20 people.

I was responsible for the sale of season ticket packages and corporate packages to prospective clients through cold calls and game day interactions with fans. There were multiple targets and goals to attain both personally and as a team. As a team we increased the season ticket base from 4,000 to 15,000. Personally I managed roughly 500 accounts for the 2010 season.

At General Motors Place I worked at hockey games and concerts as a host. My duties varied from ticket validation to answering participant inquiries and ensuring an excellent fan experience for all customers. During the Vancouver 2010 Olympics I continued this role at the arena. It was a great learning experience.

I worked with the sales team sourcing out new season ticket accounts for the team from a cold call list of roughly 5,000. During my last month of work with the BC Lions I exceeded my target of new season ticket sales by 30%. I was also in charge of spear heading a new local Corporate Pub Package.
