Managing the technical delivery of Base Support Services (BSS) contracts in accordance with Statements of Work, NATO- and site-specific policies, regulations and guidance.Key Responsibilities• Assisting in Statements of Work (SoW) drafts and reviews, and proposing changes in service requirements for SoW amendment• Monitoring contracts and regulating contractors’ technical execution of services including laundry, ablutions, cleaning, interpretation, vehicle rental, gym, billeting and material disposal• Preparing technical acceptance of customer requirements for RFQ, technical validation of tenders and coordinating material delivery• Receiving and reviewing contractor reports and presenting this data to NSPA and military hierarchies in a range of formats such as presentations, meetings and periodic summaries• Following QA policy documentation to report on contractor performance, and to formalise contractor’s evidential shortfalls in complying with associated service documents • Maintaining a robust document management system in-theatre to allow efficient, effective access and reference for the BSS team across different sites

Managing the operational delivery of MoD security contracts in accordance with MoD and site policies, rules and guidance. Key Responsibilities• Day-to-day operational management of the security contract ensuring physical assets are functional and personnel are safe in carrying out their duty tasks • Maintaining the risk and asset registers and the lessons learned log, producing associated reports to hierarchy and advising on impacts of proposed changes to the business unit• Participating in service compliance meetings with regional management to ensure delivery of service standards and to share best practice ideas across the organisation• Auditing internal processes, equipment and personnel to fulfil customer requirements• Regularly communicating with stakeholders including IT migration meetings, equipment status briefings and user account controls • Trained and certified Defence IT Security Officer and chosen IT advisor for the business area

Operational support of 10 contracted services including Combined Air Terminal Operations, vehicle fleet management, base support and defence procurement.Key Responsibilities• Project Support Manager heading teams of HR officers, travel coordinators, medical staff, IT, cleaning and billeting teams• Directly supporting the Project Management Team and acting as key stakeholder and advisor for customer reports, personnel and administrative-related matters• Coordinating the recruitment process; advertising and tracking vacancies, managing applications, conducting interviews and arranging initial medical appointments • Overseeing employment contracts, preparing welcome letters, coordinating personnel deployment and giving induction briefs to new arrivals• Managing and overseeing complex international leave and travel requests, visa requests, real life support and billeting allocations for 600+ personnel • Monitoring all daily personnel movements and being the single point of contact for very frequent emergencies and alerts, reporting staff accountability to NSPA
