MWM GmbH sells in the vicinity of 1,000 gas and diesel engines every year and is one of the only remaining successful independent engine manufacturers in the world….and is still going strong!The major products produced by MWM GmbH cover two areas;- Diesel generators from 500 kW to 2170 kW- Gas generators from 400 kW to 4300 kWThe MWM business of large gas and diesel engines was originally part of the Deutz Australia business from 1952. In the late 1990s the power systems division was formed and quickly sold more than 125 large size gas and diesel engines (i.e. above 300 kW) for power generation use into Australia, taking a significant market share in the process. This equates to an installed user base of almost 198 MW with total operating hours in excess of 2.7 million.In October 2007 the business split and MWM ENERGY AUSTRALIA (MWM) was established.
