I have worked in the Livestock Agency Industry for 30 years. Starting with VPC in Hamilton I moved on to Holbrook,Mortlake and Camperdown with the same business. In this time I performed livestock, office administration and merchandise tasks. I was offered a position with Charles Stewart an Co. at Colac, working as a livestock agent. This included working at their weekly Geelong, Camperdown and Colac markets.I was given the opportunity in 2000 to move back to Warrnambool, and did so with Wesfarmers as Livestock Manager. I coordinated all livestock activities and liased with company management. I was also the branch auctioneer.I was approached several times by leading private agents SKBW. I took up an offer with them as the company's leading auctioneer and became a shareholder/director.We were approached by Ruralco to join the Rodwells team. After a negotiation period, we made the move to become SKB Rodwells. I have been General Manager for the past three years.
