I trained as a Chartered accountant at Cooper Parry, gaining experience in an SME environment, before moving to Arthur Andersen to gain experience of larger multinational organisations. Whilst there I gained specialist experience in Technology Companies and due diligence assignments.On returning to Cooper Parry in 2001, I established a stand alone Transaction Services team working on due diligence, forecasting and associated activities to assist in the smooth running of businesses acquisition / fundraising processes.I moved into a corporate M&A and Business Development role in 2014 with Benchmark Holdings, an aquaculture technology company, building genetics and nutrition businesses to add to the existing fish health business through acquisition and follow up organic growth. After leading the acquisition process I continued to work closely with the shrimp, salmon and tilapia genetics commercial teams to assist in the further development of those businesses.I Currently work as the Chief Business Development Officer for The Center for Aquaculture Technologies (CAT), spearheading strategic growth initiatives and the global growth of the business.Specialties: Business Development, Due diligence, Forecasting, Strategic planning, Technology Companies, Aquaculture genetics, nutrition and health.
