Establishing and managing relationships with regional utilities, IPPs, government bodies and other senior stakeholders from across the industry, my role is to ensure all aspects of content and communications for Asia's largest annual gathering for the power sector are relevant and engaging. Creating content that is highly commercial, I play a critical role in driving the success of the business through the development of additional revenue streams and supporting our clients in their growth and development strategies.

I was responsible for the development of the Energy Council and Oil & Gas Council's network of senior energy, finance and investment executives across Asia Pacific. This included arranging a series of exclusive networking platforms throughout the year and the delivery of our industry-leading China Energy Assembly and APAC Energy Assembly. I was also responsible for conceptualising and launching new Assemblies to expand our portfolio and reach across the region, in line with the business needs of our ever-expanding member base and the evolution of the energy industry as a whole.

Working within the extractives industry in Africa and the Middle East, I managed key relationships at Federal and State levels particularly in Nigeria and Iran. Successfully engaging with multiple stakeholders including governments, ministries, government agencies, quasi-governmental organisations, private industry and industry associations, I worked to establish multi-party agreements and develop new business in Iran, Saudi Arabia, Madagascar and Nigeria. I project managed and produced large scale events with significant revenues, managing teams of 5-10 people within a matrix organisation and gained experience managing direct reports. I built an extensive understanding of the opportunities, risks, challenges, fiscal and regulatory regimes and geopolitical factors impacting the oil and gas industry, allowing me to develop highly commercial programmes that attract the highest level of industry and government participation.
