sk:n clinics is the UK's largest network of dermatology clinics with over 50 locations across the UK, owned by private equity firm Graphite Capital.I lead the Finance, ICT and Insight functions within sk:n.

Full responsibility for all Finance functions, Loss Prevention and Legal across the Vision Express brand in the UK and Ireland, with turnover of c€400m, leading a team of over 70 staff. Key responsibilities have included:- business lead on the first-country implementation of a global instance of SAP for Supply Chain and Finance- Led Grandvision's acquisition of online contact lens retailer Lenstore- Represented Opcos on first country implementation of new global operating model for merchandise planning and supply chain- Led financial due diligence and subsequent financial integration of acquisitions of Tesco Opticians in 2017 and Rayners and Conlons in 2014- Supported business change projects including introduction of a Tech Centre to centralise edging and mounting and the introduction of Grandvision's exclusive brand products

Provided financial planning and decision support to the President, Europe of Claire’s Stores and to other colleagues on the European Senior Management Team, driving EBITDA of the European division with a turnover of over $550m:• Member of European Senior Management Team responsible for strategic direction and financial and operational performance of the European division• Responsible for budgeting, reforecasting and expense control across 13 European countries• Advising on all key business decisions including capital allocation, selection of new store locations, cost reduction and redundancy programmes, merchandise buy plans and promotional trading decisions

Promoted to Finance Director in May 2005 after joining Claire’s UK as Financial Controller in December 2003. Responsible for a team of over 35 including Loss Prevention and Payroll staff. Key responsibilities included:• Compliance with Sarbanes Oxley Section 404 (including first year implementation)• Taxation compliance including complex transfer pricing and capital allowances matters• Establishing financial activities and relationships to open the first stores in The Netherlands and Belgium• Secondment to Programme Management role on a Pan-European Transformation Project to consolidate Buying and Merchandising processes, distribution centres and IT systems onto one platform for all of Europe• Implementing Oracle Financials system• Managing relationships with banks

Initially joined Price Waterhouse's Nottingham office where I achieved first time passes and joined the ICAEW in 1994. Immediately transferred to PW Sydney, Australia where I worked from 1994 to 1997 and where I was promoted to Audit Manager. Returned to the UK to PW Birmingham in 1997 where I was promoted to Senior Manager before leaving what was then PwC in December 2009.
