Performance managed and appraised staff to ensure “smart targets” were achieved and/or on track.Project managed numerous schemes with wide ranging budgets from £100’s to £3 million; in particular wrote a successful bid for the environmental restoration and refurbishment of Souter Park with the Heritage Lottery.Maintained up to date risk assessments and health and safety policies and investigated any on site incidents from customer complaints to flooding.Managed budget of country park and the Rising Sun Restaurant; the latter faced closure in 2010 and through the savings and restructure implemented it continues to trade today. Advisor to the Rising Sun Country Farm Trust utilising horticultural and industry knowledge to maintain a sustainable and operational farm.Represented the Council as an external stakeholder with community groups and local residents’ associations. Drafted council cabinet papers making proposals and updating on delivery of existing schemes.

This included planning meetings, bid writing, consultation and events.Management of tenders and subcontractors during the delivery of infrastructure (building, footpath and hard landscaping) construction and refurbishment.
