• Conducted initial planning and design of a national radio data network for the Afghan Special Police.

• Squadron lead for the development and implementation of CIS systems and collaborative working areas.

Telford, United Kingdom

• Provision and whole fleet management of CIS equipment for the Brigade units to conduct pre-deployment training during the Afghanistan campaign.
• Compiled accurate and detailed technical business cases for senior Staff Officers to make informed procurement decisions.
• Developed, delivered and maintained a fully deployable emulation of the Afghanistan CIS network.
• Provided full training and close support to units during the delivery and subsequent handover of this network capability.

Blandford

• Team leader and level 3 subject matter expert for all military satellite communications systems and the Ptarmigan deployable trunk network system.
• Led a pan-army team in the military acceptance of and operational deployment of the Reacher satellite system across Afghanistan within constrained deadline.
• Provided subject matter expertise to contractors and DSTL scientists for the ongoing development of a trunk network gateway capability.
