Provide daily performance and capacity monitoring of all system and application components.Provide analysis and diagnostic and reporting of performance and resource utilisation via regular publications written in SAS.Develope deep analysis routines using SAS to understand precise system and application resource utilisation (cpu,memory and thread bandwidth) to drive efficiency initiatives, increase effective capacity and avoid costly upgrades. Monitor system vs customer and outsource provider SLA's and report accordingly. Design and build SAS routines for trend analysis and forecasting of system/application resource consumption. Design and build SAS processing to manage disk utilisation. Contribute to regular capacity meetings and capacity plans. Maintain and develop SAS monitoring and system MI data collection, validation, data cleansing and manipulation process. Understand potential impact on SLA's of new workloads and liase with relevant parties / stakeholders. Contribute to and Influence application design via rigorous performance testing.Provide SAS coding experience for a wide variety of user/business requests for general data analysis and reporting requirements.

Bring about major batch run time reductions by identifying issues relating to serious tape contention and shortage of tape drives. Provide consultancy to operations support for all batch performance and resource utilisation issues and provide appropriate SAS based analysis and diagnostic tools .Conduct major project to significantly reduce batch run times.
