I was responsible for all financial analysis and inputs for the supply chain of a >£1Bn proposal within the Air Traffic Management market. As part of the Supplier Leadership Team, my analysis during the bid process helped achieve a greater than 50% reduction in supply chain costs, across a supplier base of 6 major partners and numerous other & legacy suppliers. During the bid phase I also lead the financial analysis for the corporate business case for the proposal, and was responsible for the bid budget management.Following on from that proposal, I was responsible for all financial aspects of New Business Proposals ranging from <£1M to +£50M in both commercial and governmental markets, from inception through to submittal.During this period I was part of a due diligence team that resulted in LMUK acquiring the Amor group into the IS&GS business. Following acquisition I was on the transition team that successfully incorporated the external business into our overall operations.

My responsibilities as Overhead Analyst include• Construction and management of UKIS labour & overhead rates for use in pricing bids and current programmes. In 2011, I successfully managed to reduce the overhead rates from target increasing programme reserves. • Monthly budgetary control of functional overheads working across the business to deliver appropriate budgets to achieve financial targets whilst ensuring desired functional support.• Management of Capital expenditure, including yearly authorisations and 3 year strategic planning. I am also responsible for the depreciation calculations that flow into our overhead rate• I am the authority on resource budget cost classifications for resources in the UK. I also provide guidance on cost “allowability” in line with government guidelines.• I am the primary liaison with our MoD auditor for Questionnaire of Method of Allocated Costs (QMAC), CP:CE Profit ratio & rate setting and sign off. I recently had a new QMAC approved following complex changes to our accounting systems, following a change in business structure.As team lead I am responsible for 4 individuals covering the following areas• Resource budgets; I am responsible for overseeing all of our other resource budgets within our business unit. This includes our Bid and Proposal, Internal Research & development, local facility overhead pool & our marketing budgets. These were all delivered under budget last year.• Shared services management; Management of our intercompany activity, including labour loans or shared facility costs. Within this role I oversee the analyst, in conducting the pricing of the activities, inventory control, invoicing and Accounts Receivable control.• Companywide workload analysis; Management and oversight of the company wide workload function.• Facilities management; overseeing the team, liaising with the Landlord, and managing space planning.
