I am a tax executive with over 20+ years experience across Head of Tax roles for UK and International corporate groups.My personal focus is the ownership, communication and efficient delivery of the tax agenda for corporate groups. I have held various senior in-house tax roles, both setting up new and enhancing existing group tax functions. I work effectively with internal teams and advisers to deliver tax compliance, accounting (UK GAAP/IFRS/US GAAP), tax cost reductions, embed robust tax controls and tax governance processes, and lead on UK and international tax audits. I am able to "hit the ground running" and add value by driving and supporting automation and simplification of core tax and VAT processes via tax inputs for ERP systems/technology solutions.I pro-actively advise and support finance and business stakeholders on tax implications and solutions aligned to international locations, business growth and transactions, and drive process improvements to efficiently and accurately meet tax compliance, reporting, and audit requirements. I communicate tax matters clearly and concisely to non-tax colleagues and senior management.My industry experience includes large and also growth UK and International businesses, examples include Technology, Software, Financial Services, Funds and Manufacturing.
