The project consisted of the design and construction of an Afghan National Army base of 118 structures to include : Guard Towers, Stone Walls, Dining Facilities, Power plant 8MW, Arms Storage Facilities, Waste Water Treatment Plant, Ammunition Depot, Well Houses, Pump Stations, Firehouse, Medical Clinic, Communications Building, all Utilities such as Communication systems, Power Distribution systems, Water Distribution Systems, sewage water systems, etc.-Got awarded in November 2009 a MILCON Project - 30KM Asphalt Paved Road 6 Meters wide with 1.5 Meter aggregate shoulders from each side. the asphalt was divided into 2 layers, 40mm wearing course and under it a 60mm binder course-Managed both projects simultaneously and moved between the projects to supervise and secure the correct implementation of the design by the company’s team and the subcontractors-Supervised closely the project managers and their projects progress-Made sure the projects are being developed within the time schedule set during the bidding phase and strictly within the budget-Moved between the offices around the country following up on all project’s aspects and coordinating between our company’s departments and the subcontractors and suppliers-Reviewed with the Project Engineers the designs and the development of the projects coordinating with the US.
