After graduating from Imperial College in 2010, I worked in a variety of roles with DHL as part of their operational management graduate programme. The experience gained at DHL helped me to secure a position at Ramtac Computer Systems, a software reseller. This led me to the dynamic and ever changing world of ERP Consultancy, starting off as an implementation consultant/project manager, where I managed and implemented systems for our customers, taking them from the Sales process all the way through to Go Live. This included data management, bespoke system configuration/design, writing development specifications, training end users and Project Management, which gave me a solid foundation in ERP software consultancy. In 2016, Ramtac Computer Systems was acquired by Intact Software, and I’ve since been promoted to Senior Implementation Consultant, before transitioning over to our newly formed CSO (Customer Success Office) to work as a Technical Account Manager, proactively engaging with existing customers to ensure they’re getting the most out of our software. More recently I was promoted to Solutions Architect, which involves thorough scoping of complex customer requirements that come through from Account Management, Support or other Consultants. This usually involves in depth meetings with the customer and leads to bespoke consultancy solutions or bespoke development. As Intact continues to grow rapidly, upskilling the newer consultants is becoming ever more important to our continued success, so this is a key part of my current role. I am down to earth, extremely hard working and able to communicate effectively, especially in a customer facing environment. My key strengths are my problem solving and analytical ability, attention to detail, strong verbal/written communication skills and enthusiasm for helping others to understand solutions. I hold a full (clean) UK driving licence.

Implementation Consultant/Project ManagerRamtac Computers May 2014 - Jan 2017Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, United KingdomI worked as a Project Manager/Implementation Consultant on end to end ERP software implementation projects with Ramtac Computer Systems Ltd.I had an extremely varied set of responsibilities, spanning everything from data preparation, business process reviews, bespoke system configuration, right the way through to end user training and support. Coming from my background in logistics and stock management with DHL this role proved to be well suited to my skill set, although still presenting a day to day challenge as the software is so vast and constantly evolving. Being an ERP software package, I'm now well versed in all aspects of Sales/Purchase ordering and seeing this through to the ledgers/accounts. If there's one key thing I’ve learnt, it's that although all businesses share the same fundamental processes, there's a huge variety of ways to get 'from A to B'. I particularly enjoyed the customer facing element of the job and felt comfortable meeting with company owners/directors, helping to make sure business processes are well thought out and areas for improvement are realised. As my field is ERP implementations, I now also have a lot of experience with change management, and how to best deal with the challenges it poses.

My heavy involvement as a day-to-day user allowed me to put forward some valuable ideas for improvements. These were released in a software update just as my placement came to an end in March 2012.I also attended high profile meetings with senior management, giving me the opportunity to see first-hand the budgetary restraints imposed by the NHS. Through these meetings I gained contacts within the NHS who were able to assist me with a data analysis project. This placement opened my eyes to the variation in the services offered by DHL, as this particular contract delivered people not parcels. The most notable and challenging difference here is that parcels can't complain about the service they receive, people on the other hand, can. -
Home Delivery DriverAsda Jul 2008 - Jul 2011I worked for ASDA over a 3 year period, predominantly on a seasonal contract during breaks/holidays from university. I started out as a checkout operator for main checkouts, but was quickly identified as a confident communicator and asked to learn and rotate around the various departments, including the kiosk (selling lottery tickets and cigarettes) and home and leisure. The job taught me the importance of customer service in all areas of business and also presented me with responsibility for selling age-limited products such as tobacco, alcohol and DVD’s.Having always wanted to drive a van and try delivery driving, I decided to approach the home shopping manager around June 2009 to enquire about current vacancies. This bold approach was successful and within 2 weeks I was out delivering to customers. There were many responsibilities to this role, including ensuring the van was road legal before departure, adhering to tight booking slots and showing initiative to prepare own routes for delivery rounds. Exceptional customer service was compulsory and something I had become accustomed to through working in store. Within a month I was a valued member of the delivery team. In my last year of employment with ASDA, I also learnt how to pick, marshal and load customer orders and when my manager was unavailable, I assisted with managing the rest of the team in completion of the operation. My time with ASDA taught me to always pursue development opportunities and continue with a work ethic of diligence and hard graft in my future career.
