Simon is Director and founder of Avalon Advisors Pty Ltd a specialist personal financial advisory business based in Perth, Western Australia.Simon has over 20 years’ experience in helping individuals, families, small business owners and retirees with their financial affairs. Prior to establishing his own business, he held advisory roles at various financial services firms including 5 years most recently at a former BRW Top 100 Accounting firm. He has a wealth of knowledge available to help people improve their financial lives and value what is truly important to them. Simon has a Bachelor of Commerce with a double major in Accounting and Business Law from Curtin University and holds a Diploma in Financial Planning from the FPA / Deakin University. He has also successfully completed units 1-4 of the CFP Program and the LPAC ASX Listed Products Accreditation Course. Simon is an approved Authorised Representative (ASIC ARN 236952) and a Registered Tax (Financial) Adviser (TPB No 24909160).
