Develop a business case and a fully scoped project and present to the executive to review and approve.• Planning, governance and overseeing the successful delivery of all SAPConnect Programs including Phoenix in line with DCS’ organisational objectives and processes. Achievements other• Successfully reviewed and implement analytics and reporting for the Service NSW (SNSW) grants payments scheme which identified a large number of duplicates, manual transitions and data anomalies totalling in the many 10’s of millions. With this information we were able tighten financial and payment controls to nearly eliminate these discrepancies.• Successfully reengineered the SNSW payment receiving gateway and removed duplicates which were processed and identified transactions which had not been processed totalling in the millions each year.• Implemented KRONOS across 130+ SNSW service centres reducing manual effort and improving compliance with a direct integration to SAP Payroll. • Designed and Implemented bank agnostic payment solutions for the GOVConnect ERP which supports 9 Clusters and 58 Agencies.• Implemented the TM1 budgeting and reporting system for the Department of Customer Service.• Built and developed the SAPConnect team of professionals with a mandate to standardise business process and ICT systems. It was a priority project for the Cluster to consolidate all the Cluster ERP systems onto one instance of SAP platform.• Produced a roadmap for SAP to move to S4 which was approved, and funding has been allocated.

Responsibilities• Project Sponsor of SAP ERP Implementation for Fairfax Group.• Vendor Management and contract negotiation • Business Analysis, Strategy Development, Project management and implementation methodology.• Cost and budget control of all finance system related capital projects.• Cost, budget and management of HRMS/Payroll systems , Peoplesoft Systems and SAP Project teams • Direct reports 6 with indirect staff of 37 approx. in various locations.Achievements• Analysed, investigated and proposed a strategy to implement one complete financial system solution for the Group.• Developed and gained approval to replace legacy finance systems (Admarc, Peoplesoft 8.8, SAP R/3) with SAP ECC9 for the total Fairfax group.• Successfully completed the assessment and design stages of the project with sign off from all business across the group.• Implemented an integrated document management system which allows for all payroll and HR forms to be scanned and stored in payroll system and retrieved by payroll and HR staff plus for some documents like position descriptions to be deployed to employees through the ESS portal.• Implemented and deployed an integrated rostering solution to Editorial department which removes the need for timesheets and exception payment forms to be manually completed. Also allows Editorial to fully cost any rostering changes in advance.
