Through this training, I gained further recognition, support and involvement from clients, by promoting safety in a manner which is relevant to workers at the site level.Involved in heavy industrial maintenance operations within coal and ash handling facilities, for power generation clients such as Macquarie Generation, CS Energy, Delta, Loy Yang and Intergen.I conducted regular and systematic health, safety, environment or quality audits and inspections to highlight areas of good practice, ensure compliance and identify areas needing improvement, along with appropriate remedial strategies.Coaching and mentoring workgroups of up to 50 employees (consisting of supervisors, boilermakers, fitters, electricians, riggers, scaffolders and trades assistants) in HSEQ implementation and compliance, SWMS revision, conducting toolbox and prestart meetings.Ongoing coaching, training and mentoring of key staff and 4 HSEQ officers across three states / eight sites to encourage safe behaviour.
