I am an OCN Accredited Ecopsychology Facilitator, Ecotherapist & Nature Based Practices facilitator & a 5 ways to well being facilitator I will be running sessions in local woodlands designed for those who are experiencing stress related illness, mental and physical difficulties and social / domestic problems, who can self refer or be referred by key workers, G.P's and Mental Health teams & also offering this service to the general public as well.I will be offering 1-2-1 outdoor ecotherapy sessions as well as group sessions , The activities I teach are designed to be practical, low-impact and achievable workshops ,where the gradual aim is to improve self esteem, promote motivation for change and refocus the mind in a positive way. My services will be open to anyone who think they may benefit from a more natural approach to mental and physical well-being, by bringing natures healing powers together with bushcraft which allows the client to feel more in tune with their surroundingsAs an Ecotherapist, I offer a safe, held and confidential space in nature, that offers you an opportunity to pause, listen and explore all that you are; to reconnect with yourself and nature I have extensive knowledge of the countryside , environment & environmental issues."Woodlands provide an opportunity to exercise in a calm and restful environment. Exercise in woodlands has been shown to relieve physical symptoms such as high blood pressure and obesity, as well as mental symptoms of stress and depression”
