Between 2004 and 2013 Mr Kennard has been employed full time by the Lucy Faithfull Foundation (LFF) as a member of the Integrated Family Work team. During these seven years his primary role has been to provide sexual risk assessments of men and women for the family courts and to take part in family assessments with colleagues who have expertise in working with children.Now an independent assessor, Simon Kennard provides:• Risk assessments for the family courts on convicted male sexual offenders and on individuals against whom allegations have been made (including on and offline behaviour). • Assessments of men with intellectual and learning disabilities• Assessments of ability to protect on non-offending family members• Assessments for sports organisations regarding staff and volunteers• Expert Witness evidence to Courts• Interventions for male offenders and non-offending family members• Consultancy to professionals involved in his cases• Consultancy to Probation Offender Managers• Facilitation of group programmes for men convicted or cautioned for downloading illegal images of children
