With a career in software engineering spanning over twenty years, my experience and skills are wide and varied. I have worked internationally in many diverse geographies, from Europe, India, China and the U.S. often managing globally distributed teams from different timezones. With an intrinsic believe in continuous self motivated life long learning/teaching, I have invested most of my technical expertise into full stack software development and technical team and product leadership. My more mature roles have focussed on the leadership and managerial side of projects.I am a vociferous proponent and practitioner of Agile/Lean philosophy and use it to look beyond focussing solely on the technical but also for behavioural and cultural issues in organisations.I have a deep understanding of common large scale complex organisational failures and their root causes, and am a disciple of Systems thinking using it's tools and theories to focus more on the human side of the software engineering. As W.Edwards Deming would say :"Experience by itself teaches nothing; it must be coupled with theory, with profound knowledge."
Listed skills include Cucumber, Agile Testing, Git, Subversion, and 54 others.
