Following graduation from University College Dublin, I furthered my education with a Diploma in Legal Studies from Dublin Business School and later trained as a solicitor at the Law Society of Ireland more recently completing a Diploma in Management in the Irish Management Institute. I was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2011, following a ten-year professional playing career with Leinster, and also with Harlequins in the UK. During my playing career, I was actively involved in both RPA and IRUPA (now Rugby Players Ireland), with a focus on ensuring the welfare of players, their rights and entitlements. Playing for Leinster and Harlequins, I was fortunate to win some noteworthy silverware, including the inaugural Celtic League in 2002, the European Challenge Cup in 2004 and the Heineken Cup in 2009. I also represented Ireland at "A" level.
