Specialised in mergers & acquisitions and equity capital markets transactions. Extensive experience in IPOs, secondary capital raisings and private business sales with a strong focus on the childcare sector including being a key member of the founding team and subsequently advising on the IPO of Mayfield Childcare Limited (ASX:MFD), and the stapled securitisation of Think Childcare Limited (ASX:TNK), which was ultimately acquired and taken private in 2021.

For the duration of the internship I, and a handful of other Australian interns, were responsible for meeting with and preparing affidavits for families who were victims of rocket fire during the 2006 Lebanese War. This was quite a heavy responsibility as the information concerned was often of a highly personal and sensitive nature and the clients were often naturally disinclined to relive their traumatic experiences.The internship exposed me to quite sensitive matters and clients who recounted their first hand experience with, and the devastating consequences of, terrorism. It was a very maturing experience and one that certainly helped me to grow as a professional and as a person. Show less
