Project Summary:Production Batch(PB) System – A business critical MapReduce(MR) jobs system runningon multiple 100+ nodes clusters to process NetApp worldwide customers'AutoSupport(ASUP) data that contains configuration details, vital status, andperformance information. Roughly 200k systems phone home in total of 500 GB to 1 TBASUP data daily.Responsibilities:▪ lead Java development utilizing Rules Engine in MR to analyze, calculate, andpredict system healthiness with rules from At Risk Systems, Storage Efficiency andother business domains; develop Java data structures and access logic▪ Translate Subject Matter Experts(SME) business requirements into rules thenimplement them in Hadoop Streaming with Python, and Rules Engine domainspecific language DRL.
