Simon leads GE Vernova’s digital channels' media strategy and management, including daily and strategic leadership of the global energy leader’s social media presence.He also is responsible for leading and managing GE Power and GE Renewable Energy's global external channels and customer experiences, delivering on revenue marketing campaigns and managing overall digital strategy.Prior to this, Simon led digital communciations in Europe, working to improve how GE communicates externally and internally using digital media, and partnering with vendors to build initiatives such as mapping, video and content publishing. Other roles at GE include the programmes and communications for GE’s sponsorship of London 2012, including triathlon, Olympic Torch, schools, Tower Bridge relamping and highlighting GE’s commercial successes to the Games. He joined GE in 2005, having worked at Pricewaterhouse, PwC Consulting and IBM previously, all in various digital roles, and before that organizing sailing events and selling dinghies.Simon lives with his family overlooking the sea on the South Coast of the UK, and is never happier than when messing around on the water or cultivating weeds in his allotment.
