We highlight all of Victoria's events, all in a 5-minute read. Using a hyper-local approach, we connect people and businesses in person to foster deeper and more meaningful community connections.

I performed sales calls to government officials, averaging 80+ calls daily and improving my sales conversion rate from 0.2% to 0.56% constantly seeking senior sales feedback and team support. I became proficient in HubSpot, sales tactics, communication and listening to clients' wants and needs. Additionally, I managed team initiatives and revitalized the office environment for better productivity all while gaining valuable experience working in a start-up.

I was integrated into a team of Data Architects, Scrum Masters, Project Managers, Service Designers, UX Designers and Full-Stack Developers to help organize events, lead team retrospectives, perform user-experience interviews, and basic coding such as HTML and Java. I gained a strong understanding of Software development involving different parties from interviews to writing code and constructing wireframes. I wish I had the time to learn more!

My Co-Chair Abigail Parsons and I managed a team of 9 Directors to host the Gustavson School of Business Conference in March 2023! The Gustavson School of Business Conference (GSBC) is a three-day, interactive business conference held in Nanaimo, BC complete with workshops, seminars, networking and social event. GSBC is an opportunity for business students to connect with industry professionals and take part in the largest student conference on Vancouver Island!

Managed job sites, ordered materials, and communicated effectively with clients and teams to resolve issues and get jobs finished effectively helping Waterworks Irrigation become the top-rated irrigation company in Victoria, BC.

I participated on the UVic Men's Novice Rowing team for 2 months helping our 8-man boat win 1st in the Tail of the Gorge race and 2nd in the Head of the Gorge race. I was mostly in the stern seat and learned valuable skills of discipline and teamwork.

Ensured control and authority of players, parents, and coaches at various venues by being clear, firm, and fun resulting in smooth games with few complaints

Coach new mountain bike riders, tech bikes, fit clients with rental gear and make sales at the retail store.

Inaugurated a successful social media program

Learned and applied the rules of hockey up to the bantam level
