I am on the commercial / lively / strategic end of CFOs. I create high performing finance functions, and my attention spans from the gritty detail to the high level strategic. I enjoy supporting the management team to make good decisions, and am experienced raising capital from both VC / private equity and lenders, and taking a business towards (and through) exit.CFO of Goodlord, SaaS and insurance growth company focused on serving the lettings industry. 2 equity raises, 2 debt raises, a convertible and 2 small acquisitions. I joined in 2012, when the business had been loss-making/break even for several years. I prepared the business for sale, achieving a £120 million sale to Provident Financial in 2014. The most recent results before I left in April 2018 showed a profit of £34 million.
