Spent the first 6-months of the 12-month internship working with the ONS, ADR UK and 3 other CDRC academic researchers on the Local Data Spaces Project. This project helped support Local Authority COVID-19 response. We produced a series of 10 reports for every Local Authority in England, using R to create openly available cleaning, data visualisation and analysis scripts. I principally worked on the use of the sensitive NHS Test and Trace Dataset within the ONS Secured Research Service to produce 3 reports- Ethnic Inequalities in COVID-19, Demographic Inequalities in COVID-19 and Geospatial Inequalities in COVID-19.I am now working on a mass-market appraisal of the English commercial rental market using Machine Learning, using a range of machine learning models in R.

Guided prospective students around accommodation and answered any questions. Public speaking was required to speak to large groups of people, a good University knowledge and an attention to detail to guarantee accommodation portrayed high standards of LancasterUniversity appropriately.
