For the last two decades, I’ve spent much of my time as an entrepreneur and Managing Director of LSR, a smash repair company with workshops in regional New South Wales.While I love running high-performance teams, building relationships, and challenging myself and my workforce to find innovative and efficient ways to problem solve, I get an enormous amount of my drive and fulfillment from contributing to the growth of regional communities by educating apprentice automotive spray painters and panel beaters and bringing in skilled trades who make life in the country both convenient and accessible.As the son (and apprentice!) of a longtime smash repairer, I jumped at the opportunity to purchase my father’s business in 2009 and have had the great pleasure of watching it go from repairing 250 cars a year to over 4,000. Today, LSR has over 50 employees and has grown to include a sister-business, Advanced Automotive Services, as well as the ability to offer powder-coating and vehicle restoration services.As a Managing Director, I enjoy working with key stakeholders, including Insurance firms, local governments, as well as the team of tradespeople who make all the magic happen on the shop floor. As an entrepreneur, I love listening to new ideas and seeing how I can add value to a new venture.
