• Transfer details from component drawings to CAD/CAM and programme in 2D and 3D. This will be then post processed into Fanuc language and transferred to the CNC console.
• Setting and operating multiple machines including both CNC and manual machines.
• I have full knowledge of both Fanuc language and also Heidenhain systems. These systems are more language based as opposed to the Fanuc coding which is normally G and M codes to represent commands.
• Selecting correct tooling setting heights of tools, Setting datums, inputting compensation figures into geometry for tool wear etc.
• Reading complex drawings in both metric, imperial, first and third projection.
