As a part of my PhD studies, I visited the University of Pretoria for 4 months. During this period I worked on highly concentrated aqueous electrolytes and their interaction with a VO2 based electrode. As a part of this project my collaborators from University of Pretoria also visited Chalmers during 2017 and 2019.

I assisted two researchers at the solar department with electrical, optical and structural characterization of different materials. It gave me a preliminary insight in the different methods I would later use in my thesis but also experience of working in a research group and presenting results in a pedagogic way.

This was my first practical experience were I got to use what I learned at Chalmers but it was also a valuable experience working in a different culture compared.
