Commercial & General Manager

As an Ops Director for Totemic Ltd. a whole range of business areas have been covered within the past 2 years. *Predominantly responsible for transitioning the IT Dev/Support/Infrastructure & Telephony departments from long standing relationships and practices into a refreshed methodology with the creation of the Project Management and Business Analysis teams.* Responsible for managing teams both directly and indirectly, and recruiting the right people for the right team at the right stage in each business area.* Instrumental in the recruitment of the following roles for the Group - HR Director, CIO and FD.* Implemented the first Group Change Management Policy in early 2016.* More recently created and managed the Procurement function for the Group, realising savings in excess of £1 million in the first year alone.* The following business areas have been primary responsibilities:BI, MI, IT Support, IT Infrastructure, IT Development, Telephony (both mobile & fixed line communications), Project Management, Business Analysis, Human Resources, Document Handling (print and postal communications, outsource postal services), Estates Management & Logistics, Procurement (Relationship and supplier management)

Part of the Totemic Group, PayPlan is a free debt management company providing ethical solutions to around 100 000 new clients each year from a number of call center operations in the East Midlands.During my time working in the core PayPlan business, I rapidly worked my way from an general administrator position to managing at a senior level. Multiple roles from a Directors PA, Acquisition Senior Manager, Relationship Manager for Creditor Partner & Mortgage Arrears Senior Manager. Achievements include:* Relocated to Lisbon Portugal to expand the operational departments in 2006. This involved mass recruitment (60 to 225 employees in 1 year), logistical management of opening a new office, training of staff on CRM systems, and also debt advice. * Instrumental in bringing a mortgage arrears management product to market to benefit both clients and mortgage lenders alike.* Part of the team that won the 2013 Money Advice Award for Best Partnership products for our innovative Secured Lender Referral product.* Oversaw the overhaul of the Document Handling & Logistics department during Q1 2014 - reducing headcount by 40% and overheads by £250k per annum

Joining as a 17 year old whilst studying for A-Levels, this role saw me through my time at university, ultimately leading to a managerial position in 1998.Promoted to a Restaurant manager in 2002, and successfully opened a new Drive Thru Restaurant in 2002.
