8 years’ supply chain, purchasing, and sourcing experience within the electronic, metal, and plastic component/part markets, as well as 6 years’ involvement in factory production planning/scheduling and global site to site project management in the semiconductor industry.Experience in purchasing cycle management: generating requisition (including RFQs), issue purchasing order, following up (such as confirming dock date, expediting, and changing quantity), receiving goods, and approving payment.Knowledge in purchasing methods and concepts such as Kanban, JIT, order point system, safety stock, vendor-managed/owned inventory, sourcing strategies (such as sole, multiple, and single sourcing), and economic order quantity.Experience with sourcing decisions and vendor management, including new vendor/supplier qualification procedures, vetting criteria, and performance evaluation (such as supplier scorecards and ratings), as well as contract negotiation and legal documents (like Non-Disclosure Agreement and documentation for molds, tooling, and intellectual properties protection) to identify qualified vendors, to ensure vendor continuous improvement, and to maintain good relations.Extensive experience in all supply chain activities, including purchasing, production planning, vendor/supplier management, inventory control, and transportation.Strong negotiation/communication skills, analytical mindset, and problem solving ability through clear communications in both English and Mandarin, as well as diplomatically coordinating with all internal/external parties and prioritizing conflicting needs to solve issues impacting supply chain performance.A proven and consistent track record achieving cost reduction, savings, and continuous improvement throughout supply chain and logistics activities.
