Following Abbey's acquisition of Scottish Provident and I was the first of a new team set up to specialise in the protection/life insurance market. At the time I joined there was a large integration program going through (merging ofSystems, Sales literature etc...), I had a lot of involvement with this and spent a month in Edinburgh to learn and develop the inherited system. The main part of my role was set up to increase sales through building relationships internally and with the top performing Independent Financial Advisors; pro-actively selling our products.
