Work with OCHA staff & partner organizations to prioritize business and information needs for the purpose of compiling data and conducting analysis. Ensure the quality of inter-agency 5W data, (who, what, where, when and for whom). Collect, clean, aggregate, validate, analyse, disseminate & use of data trend analysis, spatial analysis using geographic information system packages, develop and maintain an integrated database for supporting widely OCHA advocacy mechanism. Manage/Produce information products such as Humanitarian Dashboard, Humanitarian Snapshot, review secondary data and internal reports. Prepares various info-graphic output, background papers, analysis, sections of reports and studies, inputs to publications, maps. Oversee and maintain other data sets and data management tools as required. Develop ad hoc analysis on demand for OCHA South Sudan and partners.

As a SDMO I provided guidance and supported to M&E and program staff on data management and utilization as well as providing statistics on the indicators to the TAs/PMs for their routine report. On monthly bases updating the Indicators Performance Tracking Tables (IPTT) for different thematic areas such are Health, Nutrition, Education, Food Security and Livelihoods, Child protection, Child Rights and Governance, Emergencies etc. On Quarterly and Annual bases I do compilation of the Total Reach Statistics for the whole of the projects across the thematic areas.At the field level, I Provided technical support and training to M&E and other program staffs on HMIS /data management (data collection, data entry and quality assurance of the data.) Managed soft data sent from field locations and checking it for its consistency, completeness and accuracy and advises the M&E and program staff on how to improve the data quality and completeness.Others• Designed a guide line for data management activities.• Trouble shouting of any problem related the HMIS database.• Assist and advice staffs on HMIS data analysis and management.• Ensure that SCI data is managed and the data report is sent to Juba on timely basis.• Data verification (site visit)

Contributed to the development of M&E Tools such as Data Collection Forms, Database, Data Collection Guideline & Training of M&E Officers on Data Processing. Other functions were Data Analysis, Updating PMP/ Performance Monitoring Indicators on Quarterly basis. I contributed to the development and implementation of survey’s tracking tools/forms, and computer analysis tools for both quantitative and qualitative data. I monitoring data flow procedures, making sure that data are submitted on time to the head quarter office on time for the quarterly report ; coordinating data collection, entry, and analysis. Provided regular reports on project implementation that is monthly, quarterly and annually. Conducted field visit on data verification and monitoring activities.
