Assist the manager in the day-to-day running of the site and deputise in his absence. Responsible for husbandry and plant routines. Delegation of duties to all technicians. Responsible for the preparation and implementation of our grading, vaccination and transport plans. • Responsible for the training of staff, ensuring that everyone is working to the highest standards• Use aquafarmer to manage site performance and planning• Responsible for the upkeep of data records to manage site performance i.e. grading, vaccination, treatments, transports, health, water quality and daily feeding.• Stocktaking and ordering of equipment, supplies and feed to guarantee successful running of the site.

Responsible for all husbandry and plant routines including vaccination, transport and grading. • Learned the entire Recirculation system from water intake to effluent. This knowledge resulted in being given the responsibility of overseeing the Inchmore hatchery build. • Responsible for overseeing the safe transportation of fish via well boat and lorry. This aided in stress reduction and in turn better sea survival.• Responsible for training new members of staff• Worked regular on calls and was responsible for the entire site.• Performed vaccination health checks to ensure that the Maskon machine was injecting the fish in the correct place. Made adjustment if necessary• Nominated to be site representative by my peers and remained in this role for the maximum amount of time possible (3 years). In this time I was required to highlight staff concerns and worked with a team of 12 people, including HR and the Marine Harvest MD to resolve these concerns. During a major redundancy period, the representatives were the first people to be made aware of the situation and were tasked with informing the individuals that they were representing.

Was also responsible for the vaccination health check while at these sites.• Spent time in the Fin Fish hatchery to help set up the first ever Maskon vaccination machine in Scotland.• Was tasked with overseeing the transfer and delivery of smolts that were being sold to another company.• Worked weekends and alarms alone and as a result was responsible for the entire site for a prolonged period of time.
