Throughout my professional journey, which began in 2000 when I entered the electronic music industry, I’ve experienced significant growth both personally and professionally. After completing a comprehensive study in composition and orchestration, I transitioned into commercial and film music production with Digital Forrest, a small audio company. This experience cemented my love for music composition, particularly how music can elevate and bring imagery to life.In 2006, I joined Waterfront Post – then the largest post-production house in the country – where I launched Echolab Music, initially a sound and music studio, in their small studio at the back. From its humble beginnings, Echolab Music has evolved with the times and my deep passion for all aspects of the industry. By 2022, I had transformed the company into Echolab Post, a full-service post-production studio. Today, we offer a wide range of services, including sound design, music production, offline editing, motion graphics, and final mix, allowing us to meet the diverse needs of our clients across various mediums.In this new chapter, I have taken on a broader role, not only as Head of Sound & Music, but also as a Producer and Music Supervisor. This shift has allowed me to oversee and produce projects from a holistic perspective, ensuring that every detail, from the score to the final edit, is crafted to perfection.Over the years, my work has allowed me to collaborate with leading international and local brands, including Hyundai, CarTrack, Coca-Cola, SAB Breweries, ABSA Bank, KWV Wines, Nissan, Chevrolet, MTN, Smirnoff, Mikyajy, Diechmann, Camp David, Shiesser, and Woolworths, among others.In 2013, I was commissioned to score the critically acclaimed indie film "Bordering on Bad Behavior," which earned the Best Comedy prize at the 20th Indie Gathering International Film Festival. Additionally, I’ve had the privilege of reworking music for renowned artists such as Avicii, Wyclef Jean, and Goldfish.The trajectory of my career has been an incredible journey of growth and transformation, and I remain dedicated to delivering exceptional music and post-production experiences that bring stories to life and leave lasting impressions.
