I am the managing attorney of Harris Bricken's New York office. I represent our clients in all aspects of cannabis law and real estate law.I played a key role in the formation of Harris Bricken's cannabis practice by drafting the documents that became the seminal legal framework for operating a cannabis dispensary. I have also advocated for our cannabis clients before various local governments. In our real estate practice, I advise developers, investors, contractors, and design professionals across all stages of the property development process, including: condominiums; multi-family rental properties; retail developments; mixed-use developments; and special projects. I have represented numerous clients in negotiating construction access agreement and, when necessary, in RPAPL 881 petitions.

Practiced construction and real estate law and commercial litigation as a Senior Associate at Tsyngauz & Associates, P.C. My practice focused predominantly on representing real estate developers in all stages of the development process. I was responsible for a variety of legal tasks related to real estate, including negotiating and drafting license agreements, commercial lease amendments, and purchase and sale agreements.I was also responsible for all aspects of the litigation process, from pleadings through appeals. I wrote and argued over 50 motions in the Supreme Court of New York and the Southern District of New York, including over 50 dispositive motions. I also personally handled over 75 depositions, including deposing over 30 witnesses.

As an Associate I was responsible for all aspects of the litigation process, including but not limited to: drafting motions; arguing motions; conducting and defending depositions; and, discovery. - Successfully opposed a motion for a summary judgment in a $12m insurance coverage dispute in the Southern District of New York.- Successfully opposed an appeal of a $150k fee award in the Supreme Court of New York, Appellate Division, First Department.- Successfully opposed a motion for summary judgment in a FLSA case in the Southern District of New York.
