Successfully Completed a course leading to a Higher National Diploma B.Tech. (University City of Bath ) in construction (Highway Materials and Testing Specialist Course). Attended and achieved an award from British Standard Institution Training Academy in Quality Management Systems ISO 9001:2008-2015.Gained 22 years of experience in Quality Control Testing and Quality Assurance related to road construction, structural construction, and soil mechanics analysis. Fluent in English, Maltese and Italian, with a basic knowledge of the French language. Currently occupying the post of Quality Assurance and Laboratory Manager involved with routine geotechnical/construction materials testing laboratory and field assignments including: soils, concrete and masonry laboratory test performance, calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment, keeping the laboratory organized and in compliance with QA/QC initiatives, ISO 9001:2015 and BS EN UKAS accreditation requirements, calculations and data reduction of test results and other administrative duties, as appropriate. Manage projects and all personnel in the Construction Materials Testing Group, which includes both field testing services and laboratory testing. Technical trouble shooting of field and laboratory testing. Recruit and train staff for both field and laboratory testing .

Visit job sites, network with clients, general contractors, and site superintendents.Provide cost proposals for construction materials testing projects. Provide monthly reports on team performance and manager activity to the Senior Manager, Support Services and relevant teams as identified by the Group.I also conduct regular performance reviews of our service team to ensure the Group’s service expectations are met or exceeded, giving feedback and providing support for development: liaise directly with the Group’s clients via email to assist with queries, providing fast, accurate and thorough responses using pre-approved templates, including handling urgent emails from the Group's clients and suppliers.
