Recording and managing book of first entries; Requesting and capturing expense invoices into ERP accounting system Scrutinizing invoices received for discrepancies and liaising with suppliers for corrections if any. Administering the fuel consumption costs (Bakkie, generator & bakery ovens) and analysis of reports as per the policies and procedures set. Administering daily cash up’s and revenue recognition. Managing debtors and stokvel customers’ accounts and reconciliations thereon. Reconciliations of bank accounts and supplier accounts.: General ledger and management accounts scrutiny. Ensuring that processing of expense provisions, accruals, adjustments, variance analysis, and journal entries are completed and in accordance with the relevant assertions (classifications, completeness &cut off of transactions). Calculation and reconciliation of monthly value added tax for return. Administering fixed assets. Accounting for assets inter-company movements between branches. Completing the depreciation and providing journals. Updating the fixed assets registers.: Assist with external audit queries and samples
