Mr. Simon Mau has 30 years of comprehensive background in electrical engineering especially in the power automation system sectors over the past 23 years. His expertise has been primarily in the Protection, Control, Metering and SCADA/RTU/Telecom scopes from power transmission, substation, distribution to feeder automation systems, including initial study, scheme, design, integration, testing & commissioning. He also implemented the protection applications e.g. fault current calculation & study and relay setting & configuration as projects required. His outstanding performances and contributions help Chung-Hisn Electric & Machinery Mfg. Inc. to complete 8 of 10 IPP projects in Taiwan satisfactorily and successfully during 1998~2003. He was assigned to manage the Production and R&D teams and responsible to explore the IED Relay/FTU/RTU/SCADA business during 1999~2006 and acquired staged achievement in Taiwan, China & North America. His career has progressed from Engineer, Senior Eng. to Deputy General Manager of Power Automation Department, which he has held from 1998 to 2006. Since 2006~2008, he worked for Dynatrol Systems Inc. (DSI) and focused on IED Relay/FTU/RTU business & applications development worldwide. During 2008~2014, He joined SNC-Lavalin T&D Calgary as a Senior P&C Tech. Professional, Senior Electrical Specialist & P&C Module Lead. From 2014~now, He works on contracts for DSI & Stuart Olson Inc, focused on SONCOR Oils Sand utility TA projects. Mr. Mau is fluent in English and Mandarin. His knowledge and experiences have been serving him as a well disciplined expertise on power automation system.
