Comprehensive proven practical experience of:• Delivering expert geological support to businesses in an accurate, unambiguous and timely fashion• Geological modelling software and their use in the analysis of mineral quality, mining constraints, geotechnical data and the creation of effective and practical quarry designs• Driving efficiency and safety benefits through excellent quarry design• Assessment and estimation of Mineral Reserves and Resources to a variety of international reporting standards• Assessing mineral extraction potential for the purposes of due dilligence, both acquisition and divestment, as well as integrating operations, systems and data post-acquisition• Acting as an expert witness in aggregate and industrial mineral cases• Geological setting and characteristics of international aggregates and other relevant Industrial Mineral products• Aggregate extraction technology, mining engineering, operational techniques and product knowledge• Legislation/Regulations in relation to geotechnical management of quarry operations• A strong business understanding beyond Natural Resources functions and proven ability to contribute to a Senior Management team on all facets of business development• Leading and developing a team of highly skilled professionals• Procuring and managing technical consultants in the fields of Geology, Geotechnics, Hydrogeology, Geophysics, Geostatistics, Mining Engineering• Interaction and developing strong relationships with external stakeholders at an organisational leadership / government level• Managing and delivering a programme of Mineral Reserve and Resource replenishment across a business, including knowledge of all relevant investigative techniques and associated legislation
