I am a highly skilled Facilities Management practitioner and consultant advisor with extensive experience in the FM industry. I'm responsible for leading a team of consultants covering Scotland, Northern England and Ireland, and delivering a diverse range of FM consultancy assignments across the private and public sectors. Simon joined GTFM from a background in Hard and Soft Services management. After completion of his Bachelor of Arts in Business Management, Simon has worked in the FM industry as a Property Manager and a Health and Safety Technical Support officer. He has excellent working knowledge of Health and Safety requirements and risk factors that may influence a contract. Simon is a member of BIFM and NEBOSH qualified.

Responsible for ensuring that the relevant statistical information is collated and weekly and monthly reports were produced, liaising with Agents, Team Leaders and Managers regarding the return of information. I was also responsible for providing technical support to the risk section and developing systems for Health and safety, environment and business performance

Working within a busy Head Office, providing high quality FM support services to a multi site operation, including three warehouses and over 130 retail stores. I was responsible for ensuring compliance with all relative statutory legislations and for the management of all insurance claims. I was also accountable for tendering and managing hard and soft fm supporting contracts and their budgets, which were valued at £1.2M per annum.
