Experience and KnowledgeI have over 7 years experience working in distribution and delivery giving me an understanding and insight of the logistics environment. Throughout this time I have gained experience in co-ordinating deliveries to ensure that deadlines were met.I have used my RTITB Forklift qualification to safely load/unload a vast range of products in a busy warehouse environment.I have used various types of plant machinery to move materials at an environmental recycling facility.For the 5 years that I was self employed I had managed my own career path ensuring that relevant documentation was completed and available for the accountant at the end of each financial year.My current employment involves liaising with customers on a daily basis. Electronic and cash payments are taken, receipts issued and invoices are managed accordingly.During staff absence I have organised delivery schedule to ensure that orders are delivered on time and by the most efficient method.Skills and AbilitiesI have good communication skills which have been necessary in my current position as I liaise with customers on a daily basis Throughout my previous positions I have always been punctual, motivated and always carry out my position to the best of my ability.In previous positions I have learnt the importance as working as part of a team to help each other meet deadlines and the need to have a flexible working attitude in order to achieve this.I have used my organisational skills when required to carry out a variety of tasks within a tight deadline. This has allowed me to manage my time effectively by prioritising.I understand the importance of training in order to assist and enable a person to carry out a job to the best of their ability which benefits not only the person but the company as a whole.
