My role is to support the development of grassroots football coaches through coach education and ongoing support. I am responsible for delivering The FA's coach education program in partnership with Kent FA and their key stake holders.This role will embed the England DNA philosophy across all coach education and will constantly evolve in line with the England DNA to ensure The FA's coach education program remains world leading.Within this role I have to deliver Level 1, 2 & UEFA B courses (previously Youth Modules 1,2 and3 as well) to the grassroots football community via face to face on course delivery and in situation support. Additionally I have to design a coach CPD program in conjunction with Kent FA to meet the needs of their grassroots coaches.This role demands high levels of self motivation and independence due to it being home based role and it requires high levels of problem solving to ensure I create bespoke solutions for the variety of coaches I support.Responsibilities:➢ Worked collaboratively with key stakeholders to embed the England DNA and FA strategic objectivesacross all coach education and, ensured The FA's coach education program remained world leading.These included Kent Football Association, county sport partnership, 1st 4 Sport and the grassroots football community, ensuring multi-agency input through key implementation phases.➢ Delivered learner centric, personalized and connected, Level 1, 2 & UEFA B courses to over 1000grassroots football coaches.➢ Designed and delivered a coach education/CPD program in conjunction with Kent FA to consistentlysurpass their Equality & Diversity targets regarding female, Black and Asian coaches.➢ Effectively managed 8 part-time coach developers to deliver world leading courses via team meetings,1-1 mentoring and individual assessment observations. These films support grass roots coaches who deliver the Mash up programme to teenagers nationally. These sports were Judo, Handball, cardio tennis, basketball, indoor rowing, yoga and street dance.➢ Delivered the mini whistlers course to 40 young people from our centres and also delivered a junior football leaders course for 24 young people.➢ Designed the marketing materials in collaboration with our marketing team to raise the profile of the programme.➢ Line managed the street dance activator and matrix managed 8 part time sports coaches delivering sessions across the City.

Founded in 1879, they are London's oldest football club playing professionally.Responsibilities:➢ Manage the Fulham FC’s diverse sports programme in the borough of Lambeth and ensure high quality sessions were delivered on our 40 sessions a week to over 640 participants.➢ Line managed 2 full time members of staff and 15 part time members of staff and ensured any issues were resolved quickly and to our customer’s satisfaction.➢ Manage a budget and became the first development officer for Fulham in Lambeth to make a profit of £18,000➢ Secured funding of £25,000 from Lambeth council to host an annual summer festival for teenagers across the borough and strategically managed the final tournament at Fulham FC’s training ground for 100 participants. Finally I coordinated the tickets, travel to and from the ground and tour of the stadium for the winners.➢ Mentored several Fulham Foundation “volunteering champions” and supported one to gain full time employment at Fulham FC and another to establish his own business.➢ Managed the development and creation of the resources and practical training for coaches to deliver Fulham FC’s Foundation & Surrey CC ECHO programme. This programme helped primary School children and parents to improve their knowledge of healthy eating and exercise in all 58 primary School in the borough.➢ Support the identification of talented players at Fulham FC’s development centres and progress the most talented onto the Fulham FC academy.➢ Strategically develop effective partnerships with the local authority, Surrey Cricket Club, Greenwich leisure, primary Schools and community groups to ensure our programmes were fully inclusive.

During my time with EYS I delivered their E2E sports programme.
