In this role, I worked as part of the Oracle Business Intelligence Team for the Industrial Technologies Department and was involved in the configuration and design of all air compressors on the i-store using logic and mathematics of basic statistical analysis and algebra. My daily tasks consisted of:Configure web-based run time UI using Oracle's integrated Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system analysing the product requirements to create the Bills of Material in line with the signed contract and pre-established guidelines. Uploading the BOM structure into the repository, testing it on the workbench using the model debugger by firstly building the design in a testing environment (UAT), liaise with Engineering to confirm configuration build is complete and then with Marketing to implement the pricing before launching into production. I was sent over to head office in Davidson, North Carolina because the role had involvement with other international members of the team so we could mirror the EMEA and North America Configurations.As I was the sole configuration SME I met with departments heads on a regular basis to discuss new configurations on Oracle E-Business Suite, training all Customer Service Representatives on Oracle Configurator Developer, mentoring publication of any new configuration, reporting and support. Some meetings took place via Web-Ex (Virtually) or I co-ordinated calls so that other regions could participate. I provided full system project management for EMEA implementations.
