When I was 16 in Early 2006 I realised school was just not something for me and after doing various work experience days decided it was best that I leave and go into the work force.For the rest of 2006 I swept floors and learnt basics on how to spray paint metal coatings.My boss at the time (Kyrie) would mention to me every week that I should get a trade in plumbing or electrical.He offered to pay me a weeks wages to go and do work experience for a company who in turn offered me an apprenticeship.This support from a current employer (now friend) will never be forgotten and is the reason I'm doing what I'm doing today. I worked for Craig Walker Electrical for near on 10 years from starting as an apprentice and working my way to becoming a tradesman and then getting to teach new apprentices.My time at CWE taught me a lot and this company I feel has a good name for making great electricians.In mid-late 2016 I decided that it was time I tried my own thing so on the 10th of October 2016 I created Sirrom Electrical.I realised quickly that you will never quite be prepared for this leap but with the support of my wife we managed to find our way through the quoting, invoicing and the biggest part being the LARGE hours that come with running a company.Sirrom Electrical is now just over 6years old and we are are team of 21.We have great clients, good processes and most of all a team who works together to produce an Excellent end result. We are focused in the residential and commercial sectors working anywhere between B.O.P and Whangarei.
