About Simon Morris
Primarily involved in the SCUBA industry since 1973, mainly in manufacturing, sales management and product development. Several of my products have won "Tester Choice" etc., in major diving publications. Since this same time I have also been involved in sculpture creation, first abstract welded steel, then bronze. I created the two well-known underwater bronze mermaids in Grand Cayman and Powell River, and casting #1 of 4 of my latest Limited Edition sculpture "The Guardian of the Reef" was installed at Divetech's Lighthouse Point in Grand Cayman on April 12th, 2014www.guardianofthereef.com

For many years while working in the scuba industry, I have enjoyed a concurrent career as a bronze sculptor. The underwater mermaids in Grand Cayman and Powell River are my creations.
