Student Experience And Career Development Team

Act as the first point of contact for enquires and general reception tasks, providing advice on careers services and a range of university policies and procedures. Provide assistance for the day-to-day running of the reception and administrative services.

Menzies Library

Responsible for selecting items for purchase for the Menzies Library collection. Provide front of house assistance to patrons of the library including processing items, locating items, addressing enquires, registering new borrowers and loaning items.

Assistance with events management and induction sessions during O-week and N-week at the ANU.Meeting and transporting new international and interstate ANU students from Canberra Airport to their residences.

Provide ANU lecturers with assistance to conduct weekly practical and laboratory sessions, weekly tutorials and providing assistance to individual students when required. Experience demonstrating the first year, and postgraduate course ENVS1003: Environmental Research Methods. Responsibilities include facilitating a weekly tutorial for 20 students, assisting with weekly practicals including teaching techniques for conducting flora and fauna surveys and analysing the results using JMP and Excel.

Provide education support for ANU students with disabilities including introducing time management strategies, orientation to the university, and research help and advice.

I manage and teach high school students at after school homework centres predominantly in Goulburn but occasionally in Canberra at ostensibly low socio-economic schools. In the past, I have run slam poetry workshops, forensic science workshops and engineering workshops in regional high schools in NSW as well as Canberra.

Academic Skills And Learning Centre (Aslc)

Act as the first point of contact for enquires and general reception tasks at the Academic Skills and Learning Centre. In this role, I provided assistance with data entry, marketing of the centre, student and academic enquires around academic skills and other administrative tasks as required.

Act Public Libraries

I work with all 9 of the ACT public libraries as a customer service representative specialising in assisting patrons of the library service with their enquiries. In this position, I connect patrons from a diverse range of backgrounds with our library services and ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the service.
