I'm most passionate about wildlife and connecting people with nature. For the last 25 years, I've been fortunate to work in a diversity of disciplines ranging from conservation, ecological research, film production, communications, marketing, sales and travel. But it’s been a fascination for biodiversity and processes that connect wildlife (particularly marine) to landscapes and people, that’s carved my personal and professional character. My interest now, is often with marine fauna, including seabirds, turtles, whales and dolphins. I also write extensively on the subject of Animal Impact ... that's, the impact animals have on building a habitable Earth. In 2012 I took a conscious career path change to set up Wildiaries as I felt I would gain more from communicating the value of nature and had seen too much incremental loss. Empowering people with better understanding of biodiversity to protect the places we live, has become a central philosophy.My final step is combining everything, including the wonderful array of organisations and individuals that I am honoured to work with, to make high impact, measurable and rapid outcomes for biodiversity.
