In this role I am responsible for overseeing Agents to ensure quality decision making on initial liability, second entitlement period (130 weeks) and any other decision to cease a worker's entitlements to weekly payments. I am responsible for the overall Scheme performance with respect to weeklies and the timely delivery of entitlements to injured workers to assist them in returning to life.

In this role I have overall accountability for Initial Eligibility claims management across the scheme. This includes responsibility for policy, systems, process, compliance and outcomes (decision making) across the scheme. My role works within WorkSafe frameworks and with Agents and Stakeholders to ensure the Initial Eligibility function is appropriately managed across the scheme.Key accountabilities:- Lead a team of technical experts and develop team capability to ensure initial eligibility claims are appropriately managed.- Identify, develop and implement solutions to improve initial eligibility management across the scheme.- Evaluate and monitor the performance of the scheme and Agents with respect to all initial eligibility processes and outcomes.- Provide expert advice, training and education to meet Agent and stakeholder needs.- Coordinate and conduct file reviews and provide formal reports and feedback.

Manage the Eligibility and Conciliation teams at Allianz.Achievements:• Responsible for the creation of this new team as part of Enhanced Agency Model - including generating a workable structure, establishing efficient processes, designing job descriptions and targets and designing reporting to maximise results.• Allianz Eligibility Team was a finalist for 'Outstanding Contribution by a Team' in 2013 Worksafe Industry Support Service Awards.• Achieved maximum remuneration in the Quality Decision Measure (Initial Eligibility) in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 financial years.

I was responsible for leading a team of 42 direct and indirect reports to achieve key performance metrics. The client mix for the team were small and medium employers who required support in understanding the WorkCover legislation and assisting their employees receive appropriate treatment to return to sustainable employment.

My responsibilities included the leadership and technical support for a number of High and Low Risk Case Managers and driving performance to achieve key remuneration measures.Based in the Geelong regional office I worked closely with clients to meet and exceed their needs and expectations.
